microRNA Target Prediction

CD Genomics has decades of experience offering genomics and bioinformatics services. We provide high-quality and affordable microRNA target prediction service based on next-generation sequencing (NGS) and bioinformatics analysis. We are consistently growing and changing to the latest technologies and trends. We work closely with our clients to meet their specific needs and achieve the biggest success.

Overview

microRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of ~22 nucleotide long non-coding RNA molecules that can post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression. One miRNAs can target multiple gene transcripts with complementary sequences. They are considered as a major mechanism to mediate gene expression and mRNA translation. miRNAs have been recognized as key regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation, and death in both normal and aberrant pathways. Since miRNAs were discovered in 1993, thousands of miRNAs have been identified in human genome. Identification and validation of miRNA-associated mRNA targets is the foundation for understanding the role of miRNAs in the broader context of miRNA regulatory networks governing biological processes.

CD Genomics provides high-quality, low-cost advanced microRNA target prediction service for research clients. We have developed state-of-the-art sequencing platforms and powerful in-house bioinformatics platforms. With strong genomics and bioinformatics expertise, we deliver accurate microRNA target prediction and detailed analysis report. Our approaches include RNA sequencing, microRNA sequencing and computational analysis such as TargetScan and miRanda. We also measure the correlation of miRNAs and corresponding protein levels to accurately determine miRNA targets. miRNA target prediction is important for discerning miRNA functions and pathways, providing vital information for disease diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
