miRNA-mRNA Interactions Analysis

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are key regulators of gene expression and their dysregulation has been associated with various diseases. Understanding the interactions between miRNAs and messenger RNAs (mRNAs) is crucial for unraveling gene regulatory networks and discovering diagnostic and prognostic markers. CD Genomics offers a comprehensive miRNA-mRNA interaction analysis service to investigate these relationships using deep sequencing and advanced bioinformatics techniques.

Overview

miRNAs are small RNA molecules that bind to target mRNAs, leading to mRNA degradation or inhibition of protein translation. Multiple miRNAs often act cooperatively to regulate a single gene, while a single miRNA can target multiple genes. These complex interactions pose challenges for fully characterizing miRNA-mRNA interaction networks. Functional characterization of these interactions requires specialized computational platforms and analysis of RNA-Seq data.

Our miRNA-mRNA Integrated Analysis Service combines state-of-the-art computational algorithms and advanced bioinformatics techniques to analyze high-throughput sequencing data, such as small RNA-seq and mRNA-seq data. By integrating miRNA and mRNA analysis, we offer a holistic view of gene regulation networks, enabling the identification of key regulatory interactions and potential therapeutic targets. We also offer Integrative lncRNA Solutions and microRNA Target Prediction services.

Sample Requirements

RNA sample (concentration ≥ 200 ng/uL, quantity ≥ 1 ug)
1.8 ≤ OD260/280 ≤ 2.2, OD260/230≥2.0, RIN ≥ 6.5, 28S:18S≥1.0.
Please make sure that the RNA is not degraded.
Sample Storage: RNA can be dissolved in ethanol or RNA-free ultra-pure water and stored at -80°C. RNA should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shipping Method: When shipping RNA samples, the RNA sample is stored in a 1.5 mL Eppendorf tube, sealed with a sealing film. Shipments are generally recommended to contain 5-10 pounds of dry ice per 24 hours.
Deliverable: FastQ, BAM, coverage summary, QC report, custom bioinformatics analysis.
